Nasi Liwet Bu Wongso Lemu in Solo

Nasi liwet is one the signature dishes from Solo. And nasi liwet bu wongso lemu is one of the best and the oldest in Solo. Be careful when you are here because the are some seller that have Nasi Liwet Bu Wongso Lemu banner in front of their stall, but the original is only one. Just find for the most crowded one. Just place your order at the seller then go to your table and they will serve yours. Try the komplit one. And dont forget to try wedhang uwuh. The price is reasonable. The place also easy to find.

Taste just so so, but the price is expensive. Maybe in the past this place I famous, but mow I think there are other stalls to choose. The street musician is just annoying and make us uncomfortable, and they will stop only if you give them money (this is usual in Indonesia).

I come at 4 june 2019, its ramadhan season and really dissapointed with the menu. I ordered the most expensive menu “ nasi liwet, dada ayam dan ayam suwir” idr36.000 they ran out the chicken breast and give me only sherreded chicken. The rice is too watery and taste nothing special

Sorry for giving low rating, I personally didn't like the taste, the price was very very expensive for the taste and the portion, the place also very common.For owner, I suggest, please give a reasonable price for your menus, and take attention for the cleanliness in general.I think most people who came to this place was took by their guide, most of them are tourists in a group.I was there because this place is pretty famous for "nasi liwet" in town, the legend. But i didnt like the taste and feel dissappointed with the price they charged me. Overpriced.

This is something you SHOULD try, I mean you should, it's open daily in the afternoon, starting at around 4pm, casual place and I personally likes the dishes and the atmosphere

Decent taste of liwet rice (seasoned rice with chicken, egg, and coconut milk) with affordable price. This place is very confusing because all of the stalls in that area have the name "Bu Wongso Lemu".

Delicious traditional cuisine and great local atmosphere, located near keprabon kulon Solo. Affordable price and you can choose a traditional drink here such as wedang ronde, wedang uwuh. When you visit Solo, dont forget to visit and try!

Great food. It is a steamed rice with coconut soup curry, chicken, and egg. It has a mild spicy level, they provide cooked cayenne chili if you want to add some more. All great,However, the seller is surprisingly not friendly enough as Solo lady!

Food is good but nothing special,but live the ambience and their passionate to the food.

This place is indeed populair, but if you want to taste a good nasi liwet solo, this is not the best place. The food is not value for money, too expensive for a small portion. I went once and do not want to come back. People said that the calculator is broken. So that you will pay more than what you eat. Yu Sani, Bu Sharmi might be far better choice.

I hope there were negative stars to score this place. Expensive, unpolite, dirty, food tastes sucks, never go here. I have no idea how people get crowded here. Swear.

Nasi Liwet. They offer a delicious nasi liwet here. In my experience, this place is comfy enough for a dinner. During the night the place became really calm and relaxing. When you are relaxed and served a delicious nasi liwet, who can avoid it? But down side for me is they offer a bunch variety of nasi liwet for a bit expensive price. But, it was a good experience. If you have the bucks, you need to try this place.

Completely overrated and hella expensive. Seriously it doesn't even taste that good. It taste just like any other nasi liwet You can get a way better nasi liwet with half the price anywhere else seriously. I mean, if you want to try well then good ahead, the food taste okay, its just, I don't think its worth the money and the struggle to find a parking space.

Pleasant place with decent food, though the presence of musicians serenading you the moment you sit down, who won't stop unless you pay them, is an annoyance.

This is the place worth to chase for tasting Nasi Liwet Solo on midnite. You can taste various kind of traditional Mataram beverages (wedang) to warm your body as well like Wedang Ronde, Wedang Secang, Wedang Uwuh, and Wedang Jahe.
